Would recommend

Works after hours, left work area clean and worked efficiently.

I needed to replace a very old gas furnace and install air conditioning. From estimate to installation the experience was very professional, personal and considerate. The proposal was very competitive and their willingness to negotiate resulted in my decision to go with Central Oregon Heating and Cooling. From estimation to installation in 6 days. Kudos to DJ, Austin and the crew.

This is a review of COHCPE’s annual maintenance program. I have been paying for this monthly for over a year. Today two different professionals arrived at different times. First was a plumbing inspection and the second on my electrical system. Wow, am I impressed!! As I said “professionals” and that is an understatement. They checked everything and in ways I did not expect, I am pleased and I highly recommend this service and this company.

Leon came today and got our furnance running again and also spent time adding important things to the notes anout our furnance so that the next tech who comes here will have access to that info. He also walked me through things to watch for in the future. Great professional. Appreciate Leon and the whole Central Oregon Heating amd Cooling team!!!

A number of years ago, Central Oregon Heating, Cooling installed a new HVAC system in our manufactured home. As I specialize in procrastination, I finally contacted about them about reconfiguring some hard-coded thermostat settings. Trevor was prompt, polite, and very knowledgeable and quickly modified the settings: and without charge I should add.

Leon Joseph did a great job - he was respectful, efficient, friendly, professional, and helpful. You are lucky to have him on your team.

Leon arrived quickly, I was kept in the loop at all times on the estimated arrival time and what he was doing, low pressure on choosing from different price options. Service was completed quickly. Would use again.

Austin was a marvelous installation technician. He installed mostly alone, a major upgrade of our heat exchange coil, and worked in the cold garage for nearly the entire day. He arrived on the dot time. He was pleasant, patient with our questions and worries, great at explaining the hows & whys of what he was doing, and considerate. It was obvious that he had exceptional knowledge of our heat pump system. He was efficient and had high standards for his work. We felt fortunate to have him do the work. When he was done, the area was as clean or cleaner than when he came. He explained what he did and why and what to expect and what to watch for. We also wanted to thank Chris, the technician who finally diagnosed the problem with our system (Coil too small for the compressor). He spent lots of time speaking with us, check out system, and communicating with Carrier. Furthermore, he assured us that this repair would be warranty work- which took a big worry off our minds. Chris was obviously expert in the maintenance and proper operation of our system. Thank you Chris and Austin.

Furnace service , filter change . Jim Lovett was prompt, professional and patient in answering my questions. It was fine experience and I hope he comes again when the next service is due.

The whole company was very courteous & kept on time for our scheduled appointment which means a ton these days! Ours technician Gus was a very polite & knowledgeable young man. He was very thorough in explaining our plumbing issue & helping us resolve it. Definitely recommend this company & Gus is an asset to their company

Quick and professional service.

We are very pleased with Matt from Central OR Heating and Cooling. Our whole experience with COHC was an educational and enlightening experience.
Sending texts or emails to keep us informed of when a tech would be available to assess our situation. It was offered to have the tech come by that evening as soon as he was available. Matt, their technician called and informed us that it would be after approximately 7pm even though he had been working since early that morning or he offered to come by first thing in the next morning, whatever we wished. We quickly decided that a fresh mind first thing in the morning would be best as the problem we were having would be better evaluated in the morning, plus we believed that he should rest up from a very long day. This was beneficial to all of us as Matt was able to test our cooling system while it was warmer in the morning.
As Matt evaluated each test in the whole system, he reassured us that we have a great system installed and that for one item he found was that I had installed an air filter that was restricting air flow too much and replaced that with our approval, then as he continued through the testing and evaluation he noticed that our refrigerant was not charged enough. So then he tested for leaks and after finding no leaks he explained that upon installation someone must not have calculated the need for additional refrigerant to fill the lines from the condenser to the interior of the house unit, thus the low refrigerant level (2 lbs). So after we approved adding refrigerant, Matt added the 2 lbs of refrigerant bringing the pressure up to the manufacturer recommended level. This solved the problem of the condenser freezing up while trying to cool the house.
We are so pleased with the education and service given to us by Matt and the maintenance program made available to us by COHC, that we signed up to have them help to keep our system running smoothly and stable at a much reduced price of servicing our system for less per month than most television apps charge per month.

John was on-time, very personable, and did a great job on plumbing project.

Scheduling was fast and easy. Received an e-mail and confirm call. Great customer service. Buddy called to let me know what time he would be arriving. He went out of his way to explain everything he was doing. He was extremely helpful and polite. He even pushed pine needles off the roof when he was up there. He is a credit to Central Oregon Heating. Would definitely recommend him to anyone. I could not be happier

Had an excellent experience with Norm! He was prompt, polite, and efficient. Our tank expander needed replacement and he identified the problem and had the replacement installed within a half hour. He took the time to explain annual maintenance on the expander, and even explained why it might have gone out. Would absolutely recommend Norm and the folks at Central Oregon Heating & Cooling!

Clay did a wonderful job! Knows his stuff. Very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable!!! He was a pleasure to work with!!! He is a great listener and very patient with teaching me how to operate the thermostat.

Leon and Ryan arrived at our requested time. Since Leon has been here before, he knew the house and got right to work. He made a suggestion concerning the heat pump starter voltage. Sounded logical, so they will install later this week. Central Oregon Heating installed this heat pump about 12 years ago. With their service, we have not had any emergency calls.

Both Leon and Ryan were thorough and efficient in the maintenance service to our furnace. No assumptions were made when a worn part was found, they clearly explained the nature of the part and its potential for failure, and since not a safety item, allowed us the call for it to be replaced at this time. Professional and consice.

Jim Lovett did a terrific job.

Last week Leon came to my house to service our furnace and inspect the ductwork, the ductwork was installed poorly. I already knew this as I have a construction background. Leon suggested that Eric come out and give us a quote. Eric was very professional and created a drawing to fully explain why the house wasn't heating properly and how the ductwork should look. Literally the following day Dominic and Harley came out and completed the job in one day. They were also polite and professional laying down mats and tarps to protect the wood flooring. They also made sure that all of the mess and demo materials were cleaned up. We have hired COHC multiple times and each experience has been exceptional.

Benjamin J completed a maintenance this morning on my furnace. He was prompt on arriving. He was very friendly, courteous and completed a thorough maintenance check on my system.

Our old oil furnace was on its last legs. Contacted Eric M with Central Oregon Heating & Cooling after days of trying to locate an oil furnace replacement and putting up with cold temps in the house. He was able to find and get a new replacement trucked overnight from Vancouver. The day after it's arrival, Fred and Carlos did a fantastic job of getting the old furnace out and the new one in! Lyle came by and double checked that everything was as it should be (which of course it was). Couldn't have asked for or gotten a better team than these guys! Thank you Eric, Fred, Carlos and Lyle, you guys are amazing!

Love my new furnace! And I loved the experience just as much. Chris, my estimator, made sure I understood all the options (and their features and benefits) so I could pick the right unit for me. Jesse (Gray) went above and beyond working all day Saturday so that I could have heat the same day. They were courteous, respectful, and very knowledgeable. Thanks guys. Brian and Lance completed a replacement/installation of both a new gas furnace and ac unit... accomplished all in one day working inside and outside (30F). When they finished, they provided a review and instructions on use and maintenance that could be done by the customer. Great job on clean up too. The next day Fred came by on short notice and did some system tweaking and provide more guidance on the use of the new thermostat including the wifi option. Overhaul a good job by the COHC team.

We have had semi-annual maintenance for a number of years with COH&C and are extremely happy. They follow through on their sales calls, do an excellent job, suggest but never sell. We are extremely happy with them after using another firm in town. Brian was knowledgable and answered all questions. This company is one of the good guys. Today Austin and William installed a new heat pump and air filter along with a new thermostat. I cannot say enough about these two men. They were cordial. efficient,
knowledgeable and really nice guys. They spent time showing us. They also left our garage as clean as they found it after working here all day. These men follow their bosses, Ben and the GM, Travis, in giving their customers a great value in both product and service. 5 stars doesn’t see high enough. I highly recommend this company!!!!

Dylan did a thorough and excellent job inspecting our heating system.

Míke was out and was able to diagnose the issue in a few minutes. Replaced the thermostat, explained how to operate the new unit and was happy to answer questions about what we might need in the future.

Gus was helpful, informative and knowledgeable- learned some things I needed to know about the plumbing and he completed the service and repair in a timely fashion.

Our service Tech Mike was great! Unfortunately, he had to give me bad news about my heater, but he did it in a very friendly manner. I had some one call and set up a time same day to go over my options for a replacement, before Mike even left. Anytime I have issues with my heater I call my friends at COHC. Always fast and reliable!

Great experience with Derek- he got right to the problem, found the need for septic tank to be pumped and explained how the full septic tank is causing odors indoors and gas buildup. I was very happy with his service and how he explained it to me. Thank you!

We were having issues with our gas fireplace. The pilot would not stay lit and we had exhausted our do-it-yourself techniques so we called Central Oregon heating and cooling and they literally were at our house in about an hour and had it fixed very quickly. Really great really prompt service.

Excellent service! Thank you! I had my precast tub/shower replaced with a walk-in shower, and had a higher toilet installed. David came to the house to talk about it and sent me an estimate. Brian and Cutter did the removal/installation in 2 1/2 days.They did an excellent job -- I love my shower! Brian came back to fix a couple very minor repairs immediately after I called. These folks are reliable, knowlgeable, and professional. Thank you for everything!

FAST, FRIENDLY, COMPETENT

Buddy C did our Fall HVAC check yesterday. He took several photos of the equipment with his phone and reviewed the photos to show current loads vs normal values, as well as the general condition of components. The results were reassuring and also identified areas to watch in future. He was both thorough and knowledgeable about our systems and greatly helped ensure their reliability. Great guy, very helpful.

There was a loose wire I couldn’t see making my furnace blower lose power. Ben fixed it within a few minutes and it was done. Great service overall.

We had our old HVAC gas furnace replaced with a new 2-stage gas furnace. We love the new way the new filter system works and it is also quieter. Fred our installer was a great guy and did an amazing job.

We like and trust Central Oregon Heating and Cooling so much that we had them here for 3 new installs this year....New Split-AC, a switch from a gas water heater to an electric water heater and now this new HVAC.

I recently did utilized your company for plumbing issues and by telling me that, it reduced my level of embarrassment greatly. Benjamin was just as understanding and gentle with me. Cordial, capable, efficient, on task, and great attention to detail. Our last payment had not been logged and showed we were behind. I found the canceled check, and the technician made the correction. He was very polite, considerate, and listened very intently.

John and his apprentice did an excellent job in replacing our old faucets. They were courteous and professional. They double checked everything and made sure we were satisfied with the work they did. They did an awesome job 👏.
