We moved into a new (to us ) house , back in April 2025 - knowing our HVAC was 25 years old - so we knew at some stage it was going to need replacing . It broke down a few days ago so we got some companies in to give us prices for a complete new system . We called in Central Oregon Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical because we loved the great Google reviews they were getting and we see their company trucks around Bend all the time . Their project manager - Alex Pickles - came to give us a quote which we thought was fair and then he said the make they used was “ Carrier” . Well, he had me at that word because we have used Carrier before and rate it really highly. So we accepted their quote and 2 days later in comes two of the most professional and polite installers - Jesse and Harley - to change out our old system for a new “ Carrier” one . They worked so consistently well together and knew exactly what each other were doing from beginning to end . We are now the proud owners of a fantastic new heating and cooling system that looks neat and tidy . Many thanks to Alex , Jesse and Harley for their professionalism and for being such great guys to work with . I intend to let my neighbours and friends know about this company and who to contact when their system needs replacing . I would give this company 10/10 . PS. So - we had a little problem with our new system . I called up and they sent out a wonderful technician named Buddy within 24 hours to look at it for us . Without hesitation. He talked to his manager and came back the very next day with the part and another guy to help him named Austin . Both these young men were super polite and treated us and our home with respect . They did great work and got the problem sorted out for us very quickly and professionally . Thank you for your help with everything guys . I would 100% recommend this company for their service and promptness in dealing with our problem .

This is Robert a satisfied customer. I called your company and was able to speak to a professional, courteous and pleasant person who had great listening skills and got me scheduled same day for a service call to inspect and perform a routine maintenance on our heating and air-conditioning system here in Bend. Our technician was Trevor. He showed up on time with a courtesy phone call. He was pleasant and professional, and gave us a thorough inspection. Our system needed a few minor adjustments, such as an air filter and capacitor. He explained his discovery and gave us an option to replace These items in real time on the spot with an inventory he had on his service van. I will recommend Trevor to any homeowner who was courteous, informative, friendly, and professional. Thank you for great service and immediate billing and report status of our system. We are about to sell our home And got this appointment on the recommendation of our realtor.

After limping along with my 20‑year‑old furnace for more than a year, I finally decided it was time to seek a second opinion. I wasn’t unhappy with my previous HVAC provider, but I felt it was wise to get additional information. I’m very glad I did. To my surprise, Central Oregon Heating and Cooling scheduled me for the next available service call and followed it up with a next‑day installation. My experience with Nick in service and my installer Fred was outstanding—so much so that I’m now a lifelong customer. Their pricing was extremely competitive, but where they truly outshine others is in their responsiveness and customer service. As a Bend resident for over 40 years, I highly recommend this company for all your heating and cooling needs. Note: We upgraded from a single‑stage furnace to a two‑stage unit, and after the very first night we were blown away by how quiet it is—whisper quiet compared to our old one.

Who took us in immediately, servicing us when temps dived to freeze? Central Oregon Heating did! Old mini split died just when it was time to turn on heat. In ONE day, a tech came out to diagnose situation. From there, a team of pro, knowledgeable, helpful & friendly staff helped identify a new unit. Anna, Alex, Jordan, Cody, Jerid & Manny+... assisted in the sale & proper install of a new ductless heater/fan/air conditioning unit. Our Mitsubishi unit after 5 yrs. on the coast rusted (lol) & wasn't qualified for Bend's cold winters. Got an American made Carrier Infinity Cold Climate Energy Efficient 33.5 SEER2 w/tax credit. Are we warm? Yes! Thank you!!

Our furnace quit working last week and we called and Technician Buddy came out and tried to fix it. Unfortunately the control board went out ( our furnace is only a couple years old) and the universal board that Buddy had would not work on our furnace. He immediately ordered the correct part and as soon as it came in he drove to pick it up and came drove out to install it . We were without heat for 6 days in the middle of winter. Buddy was great and we really appreciate his care in trying to get us heat. I knocked off a star because this was a furnace we bought from CO Heating, Cooling, Electric and Plumbing and they did not have parts on hand to fix it also their reception personal couldn’t quite understand our urgency to get our heat back up and running even though mentioning I have my 84 year old mother living with us. Buddy however gets five stars for his care and hard work . Once he picked up the part (He drove to Bend to get it, otherwise would have taken longer if the shipped it to the Redmond office) he made us his first stop knowing how cold we were and how long we had been waiting.

We have been very lucky in having Lyle B. as our technician. He is polite, efficient and personable. Most of all he has kept our equipment running. We were with a different central Oregon company but that company decided that the rural areas outside of Bend were too much hassle so they started charging astronomical prices. We were relieved to find a company that cared for the small town communities too. Our 25-year-old furnace conked out, so we did a lot of on-line 'shopping'. Ended up getting two bids for a new furnace, one from a place in Bend, another from Nick, one of C.O. Heating's estimators. Nick was very personable, listened closely to what we had to say, and came up with a plan that was actually less than what I expected to pay. We lucked out from a scheduling standpoint: we talked to Nick on Friday afternoon, and they installed a new furnace the following Monday! Doesn't get much better than that when nights are getting down to freezing and you have no heat in the house. Our installation was difficult, in a very tight crawl space, but C.O. Heating's installer, Cody, took it in stride. He kind of gulped when he saw what he was dealing with, but dove right in and got the unit swapped out by mid afternoon. Nice job, Cody! So, two thumbs up for C.O. Heating. We heartily recommend them.

We've had a lot of bad experiences with contractors since moving to Bend, but these guys have never let us down. I'm just mad we didn't find them first to save us from the shenanigans of other companies. They have helped with several projects at our home, are incredibly fast to respond, and everyone we've had here has been awesome to work with. Funny, kind, and respectful as well as knowledgeable in their fields. Every contracting company should strive to operate like these guys. Would give 6 stars if it was possible. Edit to add: I really wish I could give these guys a 5 star review for every time they come out to our house! Today was an emergency call for a contractor putting some nails through our power lines. They had our issue resolved same day.
